She’s a qualified nurse with a specialisation in Oncology care, and her dedication to patient well-being led her to explore the intricate world of the musculoskeletal system.
Driven by the belief that maintaining our muscles and skeletal system is essential for overall health, Rachel earned a Level 5 BTEC Professional Diploma in Sport and Remedial Massage (Soft Tissue Therapy) from the renowned London School of Sports Massage. This marked the beginning of her expertise in soft tissue therapy—a practice that focuses on releasing muscle tension, promoting circulation, and facilitating relaxation.
Rachel has had a passion for yoga for many years and has focused mostly on Hatha, Astanga and Vinyasa movements. Rachel decided to undertake her teacher training in order to enhance her own knowledge and practice and enable her to teach others, and qualified in 2019 after successfully completing the 200 hour Foundation Teacher Training Program. “For me, yoga has been life changing and extremely influential in developing strength, mobility, flexibility and muscle and joint conditioning. Yoga has improved my self confidence and I love being able to help others achieve the benefits that yoga has helped me achieve. 1-1 training is undoubtedly the best way to learn yoga, improve techniques and develop an understanding of your body and its needs.”
